The winery has two splendid estates: Masseria Cavalli is surrounded by vineyards in the country near Lucera and hosts an atmospheric underground cellar, while Masseria Celentano has been carefully renovated and hosts the modern wine-making and bottling plants. The winery was started up 15 years ago by Alberto Longo, whose ambition was to create a winery in his home area with the aim of enhancing and promoting the region. Longo’s quality wines have enabled the winery to reach many of the foreign wine markets. Wine tourists will find a very warm welcome here, and the winery tour is a very interesting experience.
