The grapes used by the winery come from the vineyards on the hills just outside Ruvo di Puglia, in the shadow of Frederick II’s famous octagonal Castel del Monte. Crifo has been making wine for over fifty years, and the label represents around 1500 wine-growers belonging to this cooperative headed by Sebastiano Marinelli. Grape quality is always excellent, due to the excellent position of the vineyards and the strictly controlled cultivation process. Wine is made here in a way that respects tradition as it seeks to attain quality.
