Founded in 1885, currently managed by the founder's heir, Castel di Salve is a winery fully committed in selecting the best quality grapes and producing wines full of personality, in a continous research of an original, never ordinary taste. They have a total of 41 hectares of vineyards and mainly grow local varieties including Negroamaro, Malvasia Nera di Lecce, Montepulciano. The wine is made in an old winery building from the last century which is in the old town of Depressa near Tricase, one of the Salento’s tourist destinations.
