In 1970 Cosimo Taurino, founded a winery which has had an impact on the history of wine in Puglia. He made sure that the winery achieved prominence in Puglia and he gave a concrete form to seven generations of family expertise in wine-growing. Nowadays the winery is run by his wife Rita with his daughter Rosanna and his husband Antonio Bello.
