Land rich in history and culture, the ancient land of Messapians is the home of Primitivo, perhaps the best know among the Puglian autochthonous grapes. The name comes from the early ripening of grapes – ready for harvest at the end of August – from which we get full bodied red wines, having an intense red ruby color, great personality and strong alcohol content. Important wines, well structured, that have long served as Ambassadors of Puglia oenology in the world. Large vineyards draw the landscape of a land caressed by the breeze of the Ionian Sea. Here the characteristic Primitivo grape trees find the ideal microclimate to express high quality standards.
