The Antinori family of Tuscany are Italian wine pioneers, and have been in Puglia since 1998, investing here because they believe in local potential and professional skills. One of their two estates is Bocca di Lupo at Minervino Murge, where stone buildings by skilled local craftsmen - in the style of Puglia’s masseria farmsteads - give wonderful views over 130 hectares of vineyards.

The second estate is Masseria Maìme at San Pietro Vernotico, with an area of 500 hectares including vineyards, olive-trees and other crops. The two estates are innovatively run, and the local staff is headed by Giuseppe Palumbo.

Thanks to substantial investments and plenty of hard work, the winery has become one of the best representatives of Puglia’s wine-growing scene, with high quality products as the best expression of the potential of the local grape varieties and the region’s wine-growing areas.
